These tents were adapted by the Arabs from the European military tents of the middle ages, for 700 years they have served travellers, ambassadors, statesmen and merchants providing a luxurious abode in any environment. They have been modified to incorporate modern materials, there are 3 layers of fabric, the outer canvas skin, a lining of black stretch plastic and a colourful lining of woven yarn.
